Safe and sound (newborn mentioned)

Allison Reine arrived yesterday evening, August 27th, at 5:39 pm.  She weighed 7lbs4oz and is 21 inches long.

There were a couple scary moments right at the end of delivery (including her being born with the cord around her neck twice!), but she is here safe and sound, healthy and beautiful.

She doesn't have red hair, but she does look just like her sister (as have all Cora's rainbow siblings!)

  1. Congrats!!!!! She is beautiful. You give me so much hope. I just had my rainbow baby in May, his name is Joe. He is doing great. He had a little bit of a scary start and went to the NICU for 11 days. I am soaking up every second with him and I will admit I am worried that he will die too, but I try to stay calm and remember I am not in control. I have had so many people ask me how many more children will we have. I think sheesh, give me a break I've been pregnant for over 26 months with very little breaks in between! It was scary a pregnancy just because I was so nervous that Joe might die like Jonas did. I don't know how I can be pregnant again down the road, but I read your blog and you give me so much hope. Thank you! I miss Jonas terribly. The pain has not lessen one bit, I'm not sure it ever will. Sweet blessings to you and your family!
